from $208.00

Artist: Charles Brian Orner

Item: Limited edition drawing, numbered and signed by the artist.

Edition: This is item number 2 of 19 in this limited edition.

Subject: Abstract

Year Created: 2020

Details: The Enneagram is normally presented as a series of line segments connecting nine equidistant points on the circumference of a circle. This image was developed to do the opposite. That is, nine points are distributed along a single line segment and connected with a continuous circular arc using the same sequence of 1,4,2,8,5, and 7.

The image is meant to suggest the inner struggle in meditation. Attentive viewers will notice that the image is not perfectly perpendicular to the floor, suggesting the effort to achieve a balance between inner and outer work.
